Developing and encouraging good practice with the highways industry

Efficiency Smart Conference 21 October 2010

The fifth annual Surveyor Highways Efficiency conference
21st October 2010, The Walkers Stadium, Leicester

Organised by Surveyor in association with the ADEPT and supported by HELG

Taking place the day after the Chancellor announces the new and eagerly awaited spending review, the event will be the first chance to hear from the Department for Transport, to network ideas and to begin real planning following a period of uncertainty.

In an increasingly tough financial environment no one is in any doubt that highways expenditure is under pressure. The entire industry, both public and private sectors alike need to strive to identify and implement innovative methods of efficiency.

Including Presentations from:

Department for Transport
Mike Bordiss, Chair of HELG
Matthew Lugg, Chair of CSS Engineering Committee
Derek Drysdale, Highways Agency
Tracey Woodhams and Arthur Hooper, Cornwall County Council
